Het Vinne is a provincial domain and nature reserve in Zoutleeuw, a small Belgian town.
It is situated around the largest inland lake of Flanders and houses several species of birds and other small woodland creatures. The domain sports several hiking trails of various lengths, including walkways over the water and through the tall grass.
Since the domain is located near where I live, I often visit it for hiking and nature photography. During my multiple visits I have already collected quite a library of footage. I'll update this post throughout the year, offering a view of the park throughout the seasons.
WINTER — FEB 03, 2017
Even though the weather has been above 0C for over a week, parts of the lake were still frozen. All of the grass is pretty much dead now, although you could see some new sprouts already peeping through.
SUMMER — JUL 18, 2016
Perfect day for a nice hike through the park. The sky was clear, with some sheep-like clouds scattered here and there.
